why i like words

if i don't write this down, i am bound to forget it.

i said today that i like the word "irritated". and when asked for the reason, i said that it was because it was a word that referred to something so commonly experienced in life.

and i realized that the reason why i like words was that they held a very conceptual meaning for me. they were thoughts, and sometimes, small worlds. they're situations and human experience. and when a word, a phrase, or a manner of speaking is able to capture and express such, i am amazed and happy. or something like that.

in short, i like words because they identify and capture human experience and i like words that identify or capture human experience.

so that explains why i am actually good at explaining words.
